Let's just say, she fits in our family perfectly. Also included, pictures of the newest member of the family, a Beta fish from Thailand, named "China," of course. Notice the last picture of her sleeping on Daddy. She's still wearing her knee pads and elbow pads.
Well, the results are in, it's Pneumonia. Karsynn had to have a couple of chest x-rays yesterday and we now know why she's having such a hard time getting well. She's now on another antibiotic and Albuterol, which opens her chest up, helping her breathe better. Hopefully, she's on the mend. She certainly is A LOT more active today than the past week, so that's a good sign, or is it? She is a little rascal! We are antipating a "big snow" in KY this weekend, so Daddy may be going out to build Karsynn a snowman to look at out the door. I'm excited about more than a few inches of snow, so "bring it on!" Let's take winter out with a BANG!!!!! Here are a few pictures to enjoy.
After having a shot of antibiotic, Karsynn finally seems to be feeling a little better. Not back to her old self yet, but she's at least able to walk around and even play a little. She's still coughing and sneezing a great deal, but her chest seems to be clearing up some. Her surgery to have tubes put in her ears is scheduled for April 2nd.
I've learned a very valuable life lesson lately...Enjoy every single moment of life and surround yourself with others who do. Life is so short and every moment is so precious. I have a new outlook on life. I've always known how very blessed Troy and I are, but I didn't realize just how blessed we truly are. To those of you who visit our blog daily, weekly, or monthly...THANK YOU! I hope it brings a smile to your face, a good feeling to your heart, and hope to those who wait.
To My Sweet Girl,
I love you all the way up to the moon, all the way down to the bottom of the ocean and all the way around the world!
My husband and I began our quest to adopt a Chinese daughter in March 2005. We traveled to China from July 26-August 12 to bring our Karsynn home forever. Our lives are forever changed. We are so blessed.
