Let's share... Yeah, right. See the picture above.
We finally got to meet Ms. Kailee. Her mommyand daddy have been home with her a little more than two weeks and she's doing great. We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse, went shopping at Meijers and Kohl's and then came to our house for some real playtime. We really enjoyed spending time together, getting to know one another. We must do it again, real soon!!!!

Back to Work...

Well, as of Monday, Troy and I are both back to work. UGHHHH!!! It's been soooooo hard, but we're making it. I never, ever thought I'd ever want to be a stay at home mom, but that sure has changed. I'd love nothing more than to stay home all day and be a mommy to my girl, but it's just not financially possible...not on teacher salaries. Karsynn is adjusting well to us being gone. We have a sitter coming in to our house 3 days per week to keep her, and we really love Ms. Becky. Also, Troy's mom and dad and my parents are helping out on the other two days. So, overall, I must say we're really blessed. At least she's not in daycare all day. She has one-on-one attention, just not from mommy and daddy. She's in good hands, though.

Karsynn has really blossomed since we came home a little over a month ago. She's babbling more and more, crawling all over the place, and even getting brave enough to let go while standing. YIKES! When this monkey starts walking, we're really in trouble. She's already in to everything. She is such a good girl, though. She loves to play with her toys, pull Bentley's hair, and she loves being outside. One of her favorite things to do is ring the wind chime on the front porch. She's just yanks and yanks. We haven't found anything that this child will not eat. She has a very healthy appetite. She really loves yogurt and even eats cottage cheese with fruit. We fall in love all over again each and every day. Thank you God for blessing us with this wonderful child. She has made our lives complete.

C-A-T-S Go Cats!!!!

Mommy, Great Granny Davis and Me

I love my Great Granny Davis

We've had a busy weekend. We've traveled to WV to meet my Great Granny Davis. I also attended my first UK Football game with mommy and daddy. I was a very good girl! I really liked the fireworks when the CATS scored and WE WON!!!! I must be good luck!

A Few Pics from the Orphanange

Me with all my friends on a nannies bed.

Sitting on the chairs in the lobby.

In front of the orphanage in Nanchuan.

We were able to send two disposable cameras in Karsynn's care package to China before we left. We weren't certain she would get all the goodies we sent to her, but we were surprised to find out that she did. On Gotcha Day, the orphanage director returned the two cameras and a blanket we sent to her. Here are a few of the pictures from the babies still in the orphanage. We wouldn't take a million dollars for these photos. They are priceless!!!!

The Smile we've Waited For!!!

Our friends are on the final leg of their trip in China. They've made it to Guangzhou. Finally, Kailee's personality is coming out. She's saying Mama and Dada, which makes Alese and Steve's day. We can't wait for them to get home. We miss them and can't wait for Karsynn and Kailee to meet.

You guessed it...more Karsynn

We hope you're enjoying seeing updates on Karsynn. She recently had a play date with her friend CJ from Ohio. We met in Georgetown for lunch and the girls had so much fun. They will be lifelong friends, I'm sure. Mommy loves the picture of Karsynn sitting in the green rocking chair. That chair was mommy's that she got when she was around 2, so it's very old.
