Well, as of Monday, Troy and I are both back to work.
UGHHHH!!! It's been
soooooo hard, but we're making it. I never, ever thought I'd ever want to be a stay at home mom, but that sure has changed. I'd love nothing more than to stay home all day and be a mommy to my girl, but it's just not financially possible...not on teacher salaries.
Karsynn is adjusting well to us being gone. We have a sitter coming in to our house 3 days per week to keep her, and we really love Ms. Becky. Also, Troy's mom and dad and my parents are helping out on the other two days. So, overall, I must say we're really blessed. At least she's not in daycare all day. She has one-on-one attention, just not from mommy and daddy. She's in good hands, though.
Karsynn has really blossomed since we came home a little over a month ago. She's babbling more and more, crawling all over the place, and even getting brave enough to let go while standing. YIKES! When this monkey starts walking, we're really in trouble. She's already in to everything. She is such a good girl, though. She loves to play with her toys, pull Bentley's hair, and she loves being outside. One of her favorite things to do is ring the
wind chime on the front porch. She's just yanks and yanks. We haven't found anything that this child will not eat. She has a very healthy appetite. She really loves yogurt and even eats cottage cheese with fruit. We fall in love all over again each and every day. Thank you God for blessing us with this wonderful child. She has made our lives complete.
